I can't comment on anything else, but if you have stripped doors, which have

previously been painted with lead paint, this is where the lead is coming from.

If I was you, I would get a lead test kit

http://www.leadcheck.com/LeadCheckSwabHU.shtml and check the house (don't forget

any wooden furniture).

n has been doing really well, he's done 24 rounds of either

DMSA+ALA, or ALA only. I'm a little freaked out at the hair test that

just came back. The lead!?

We didn't start seeing lead going up on our son's test results until two

years after chelation. Someone posted that lead is in the bones and it can

take two years to come out, so I figured that was what was going on. The

levels dropped after that.

Yes, thanks to you Dagmar I dealt with this months ago by painting

over the doors. I didn't take them off the hinges, though -- the lead

would only be a problem if there's contact with the wood, right? So

the underside of the door where I couldn't fit a brush shouldn't be a

problem?

I've had the window sashes repainted if they were flaking at all, but

I wonder whether I should take more drastic steps than that.

Thanks Barb. Did you see other things, like arsenic and antimony,

rise as well?

This is what says chelation is working.

You didn't dream it, but youj haven't done enough chelation yet to

normalize the hair test.

Possibilities:

1. One of the hair tests is an error where someone else'[s hair got

switched with his. This happens, though rarely (and there are a lot of

places for it to happen where the lab would never know).

2. You got the toxins mobilized and they are now ouit in his body where

you see test results reflecting that, the first hair test looks VERY

normal - it is the one I'd guess got goofed if one did - while the

second has deranged mineral transport (rule 4).

3. With deranged mineral transport, the second test results may not

mean what they appear to. Or they may.

4. I'd start by repeating the hair test and getting a bunch of lead

check swabs to explore the house AND THE YARD for lead. Lead check

swabs are available at many drugstores.

5. If you check page 52 of Amalgam Illness: Diagnosis and Treatment

(www.noamalgam.com) you'll see the " roller coaster detox ride, " and he

may simply be 'going over the hump " right now, which is when the tests

are the most " interesting. "
