Guest guest Posted February 23, 2004 Report Share Posted February 23, 2004 Today marks my three year anniversary as a surfacehippy and I would first like to acknowledge those friends here who helped me to make my decision and go for the resurf. Secondly, to Dr. Mont and his fine staff in Baltimore for doing such a fantastic job on me. He always likes to kid me that I really made him work " overtime " on me. Well whatever he had to do, it worked. And third, to you propective surfacehippies out there, congratulations on finding this site and doing your own research. , great job on www.activejoints.com. It's tough sometimes to go against the conventional wisdom out there but I'm sure glad that I found your site and Dr. Mont. Three years ago he was one of six surgeons in the U.S. offering resurfacing. Now, it looks like there are a lot more choices and opportunities out there. Terrific! Best of luck to all of you out there rehabbing and to those of you who are about to be resurfed. I hope you recover as well as I did.
