Hi, all!

I'm just getting though all of my postings, so someone might have already answered this one. If not, here goes:

I have this, too, on my legs and arms. It's especially pronounced when I'm cold, but can show up at anytime. My rash is called "livedo reticularis." In Dr. Wallace's book, he describes the rash as "a red mottling or lacelike appearance under the skin." (THE LUPUS BOOK, Revised and Expanded Edition, pg. 66). On page 71 of the book, he has a whole paragraph about livedo reticularis. Among other things, he says, "Some 20 to 30 percent of all lupus patients have...livedo reticularis...Causing no symptoms, it indicates a disordered flow in blood vessels near the skin due to dysregulation of the autonomic nervous system."

Hope this helps!
