Very interesting. I really need to know more about Polarity. With

Therapeutic Touch. Once you're " centered " , you run your hands, not on the body,

but

all around it, not too far away. When you come to a problem area, you can feel a

" disruption " & you sort of absorb it & " wipe it away " & then that's why you

sort of " shake it off " , kind of like a dog that goes out in the rain, comes in

& shakes if off. That's the only way I can describe it. Then it doesn't

remain with you & you re-center. I honestly don't know how to describe the

different feelings in the different stages, but like anything else, once you do

it

over & over & over again, with a " sample " problem & the a person that comes up

(this of course was in a classroom) and you've no idea if they have a backache

or a headache or their knee hurts, but you can " feel " the change quite

clearly & that's the area that you then " wipe away " & then shake it off of

yourself

& re center. I hope this makes sense, but one thing for sure, naughty girls

or not, we need to spend some time together. And I've looked through so many

books & I don't know if some disappeared when we moved @ 2 years ago, but

mostly likely it's a terrible habit of mine...... I " loan " books out all the

time &

then you know what happens.... not on purpose, at least I hope not, but you

never see them again & though you swear you won't do it again, you do & then

you swear you'll remember who you gave it to, but none of that ever happens. I

found one lousy self hypnosis book & I had some great big terrific more

scientific hypnosis ones & all of my Therapeutic ones are gone. Perhaps, time

to

re- stock from one the 1/2 price or less on line thingys.

For the Orthofix, FYI, if you're interested:

I tried to copy a picture of the unit I have, I'm not surprised I can't copy

the picture, but this is the pattern I followed to get to it. The info should

be here:

1) Orthofix - Orthopedic products. Aligned with nature.

2) U.S.

3) Products

4) Trauma

5) Bone Growth Stimulation

Physio Stim Lite =there's a picture of it on someone with a cast on. I do

it right on my skin, after taking my AFO off.

FAQ

Question Is Physio-Stim safe?

Answer Yes. Physio-Stim produces a signal at the fracture like the one your

body would generate to induce normal bone healing. The PEMF emitted by

Physio-Stim was specially designed with safety in mind, and is similar in

strength to

the natural magnetic field of the earth.

Question What will Physio-Stim treatment feel like? How will it affect my

daily activities?

Answer You won't feel the PEMF therapy, and the Physio-Stim unit is

lightweight and adjustable for a comfortable fit. It is powered with a battery,

which

allows the unit to be portable. You can sit, stand, sleep, walk, recline, and

drive while using Physio-Stim. With your physicians approval, you can resume a

normal activity level.

Question Can the Physio-Stim be worn with a TENS unit or cardiac pacemaker?

Answer Physio-Stim can be worn with a TENS unit, however, the device may

interfere with demand type pacemakers. If you wear a pacemaker, you should

consult

your doctor before using Physio-Stim.

Question Can I wear Physio-Stim if I am pregnant?

Answer The effect of PEMF treatment has not been studied during pregnancy or

nursing. Therefore, you should consult your doctor before using Physio-Stim.

Question What is my daily treatment time?

Answer Physio-Stim treatment is based on a daily therapy schedule. Your

doctor will prescribe the device for a certain number of hours each day, based

on

your needs. The minimum daily treatment time is three hours per day.

Question Is it necessary to wear the Physio-Stim at same time each day?

Answer No. You have the flexibility to receive your treatment at any time

during the day. The device has a built in 24 hour clock which allows for

treatment each day between the hours of 12:00 a.m. through 11:59 p.m. Central

Standard

Time. Additionally, you may choose to break your total daily prescribed

treatment into a number of shorter sessions lasting at least one hour each, in

accordance with your doctors instructions.

Question Who do I call if I have a question?

Answer Customers within the United States may call the Orthofix Customer

Service line at 1-. Outside the U.S., please contact your local

distributor.
