Guest guest
Well to make my story short - I was always healthy growing up. Back in 1999 I decided to have an elective surgery to remove my bunion on my foot. Well they had to put a pin in my foot till it healed. Well apparently my body rejected the material of the pin and caused me to have a major stroke 1/8/00 During that night in the hospital I was dx'd with TTP which is a rare blood disease that has to do with your platelet count - technically mine were so low I should have died on the table, but during the next few days of testing in the hospital I ended up being dx'd with Lupus SLE involving the kidneys - so your surgeries may have brought your lupus to a head - as I am being told my body rejecting that pin brought my lupus to a head - Unfortunetly I have only gotten worse, my docs have labeled me with What can go wrong will go wrong when it comes to Deanna - so I came and made this support group because I couldn't really find any that made me feel comfortable - and we have only gotten better since =) Thanks to all the members So it is quite possible that your sugeries brought about the lupus. Speaking of cook books - if you ever want to share recipes with us you are more than welcome - we had a recipe exchange several years ago - Well good luck on your books and keep us informed, remember to jump into any and all conversations you want - we love to be a family here and joke and such and your always welcome to join in.
