I really don't beleive this - I swear if it wasn't for bad luck I'd

have none at all! This morning my left knee once again gave out on me

causing me to fall, I amanged to save myself from ending up eating

carpet again by grabing my bed. Sadly in the process I hit my right

ankle very hard on the bed base. After checking my knee was back in

place I realised my ankle was throbbing, rapidly swelling and

tunering purple and had an impressive lump appearing across it.

So off to my local ER I am dragged once more to endure 3 hours of

prodding, poking and several x-rays as every time they examine my

ankle and foot there is a new lump or suspicious area developing.

Anyway, the upshot is that I have managed to crack my Maleolus (sp)

and a bone in my foot along with badly bruising my soft tissues and

ligaments too. I am black and blue from my toes half way up my leg

now!

The big problem though is that I'm on crutches because of my usueless

left leg, already have a deteriorating right knee can't use both

crutches because of my left shoulder problems and now have to cope

with a beaten up right anke that I can barely put weight through. As

a result they decided not to put me in a plaster cast as my left leg

can't take the strain so I'm in a support brace, drugged up to eye

balls and on strict orders to avoid weight bearing on either leg for

the time being! Hence I'm stuck resting up and shuffling around on y

bum for he time being!

Sorry for the whinge, but I just can't beleive that of all the thinsg

I could have done I had to break my right ankle! Complete Sods Law

isn't it? Hope everyone else is having better luck today. Thinking of

you all and sending warm, gentle hugs.

Love....Jo

xx
