TO BARB ..THE MONEY TREE

Barb,

When I went to pick up the jug for my 24 hr.urine catch at the lab this morning......on the way back I passed a Calloways plant nursery.....so I thought I would stop in and pick up a hanger extention for my Huge Purple Heart Jew plant that I have hanging on my patio....so I could lower it enough that I could reach it to water it.

When I got to the checkout stand ......the girl asked me if I had found everything o.k......Just to be a Smart ass.....I replied, "Well I was looking for a `Money Tree'.....but I couldn't find one!"

Much to my surprise she took off running,saying," I think we just have one left , let me go look!".....she came running back with two little plants, saying," actually we have two!"

I was standing there cracking up laughing.....and told her ,"Well I thought I was making a joke, I didn't know there was really a plant called a `Money Tree!"

" I bet you thought I was crazy, she replied, This is actually called a `Money Tree".....

We got a good laugh out of it.

Now the little tree looked to me like a plant I used to have......I called it a Shefalera (sp?)

Just think .........I actually had a `Money Tree' at one time and didn't know it. !!
