Guest guest
Hi and welcome to the group! Just wondering why your daughter is so limited in PE. How old is she? What kind of treatment did she receive as a baby? Can you give us some more details? My son is 4, was treated with the Ponseti method and as yet has no limitations at all. His gait looks like he is slightly pigeon toed as he has femoral torsion (that will go away apparently) and his calves are very skinny. Other than these minor appearance issues, he is able to keep up with or outrun his peers with no trouble and has no trouble with foot function. and Evan (8-17-00, bcf, femoral torsion) > hi my name is lucille and my daughter has bi-lateral clubfeet. Guest guest
I can understand if the feet were not corrected well that load bearing activity would cause some pain, such as running and jumping, but perhaps non-weight bearing exercise would help - swimming, bike riding.... s.
