Guest guest Posted May 24, 2004 Report Share Posted May 24, 2004 Dear Cheryl . . . the article by Gardner the Health Day Reporter (not familiar with this publication but it sounds like a goodie) was very interesting. Since they used the phrase " extremely promising " about the protein fragment research it gives me hope that maybe there IS something out there to begin to beat this disease. ALSO who would have believed it's the disease and NOT the steroids causing low bone density!! This is a revelation. Hmmmm! We can't blame the " p " word for bone density problems but we can still pin the other miserable side effects on it, as if that's any consolation to anyone.
