Guest guest
We get family members here who are trying to find out what they can for their loved ones. You and your mom are more than welcome to be here and share what info we have. It's not just for those of us who have lupus but for those who care about those with lupus too. We will give your mom all the support she needs.
Guest guest
Hey Pam, Yep they called me today to reschedule it to. She asked if we could come the 24th but we are going to be out of town So now we won't see Dr.Dobbs until July 15. It will be 4 1/2 months since we last saw him. I was a little worried at first then thought that it should be ok because she had a 4 month span last time. Her shoes are fitting fine also and her sore on top of her foot is healed up now. Had to take the tongues completely out of the new shoes. Now she don't hardly have any red pressure points at all. Its to bad we will miss each other again. If I wasn't going out of town we could meet. I hope we will meet soon. I really wanted to see you guys. It just seems like we just miss each other by a month sometimes. Try not to worry. I am sure everything will be fine. Please let me know how the appointment goes. I will have to check the board when I get back from vacation. Thanks so much for replying to me. Guest guest
, The laces don't bother her? Is her foot *tall* (don't know how else to ask). I thought to take the tongues out of Darb's shoes last week but it seemed like the laces would bother her. I took to buckling them looser and tying them tighter. Seems to be helping. Her red spot isn't as red. Still there though. It doesn't seem to bother her, but it looks funky when she's barefoot. I always think people are looking at her red spot if I go out without shoes (not often - this is Oregon you know). I would love to figure out why the tongue causes this in the new shoes. Our old ones had plastizode on the tongue - made it thick but it didn't make a mark. This tongue really looks nice and comfy but it makes the marks. Reminds me, I need to call and see if her new shoes are in. Anyone need a pair of size 2's in the new style?
