That's part of the Venting Service the Board provides to its members. But I agree with you completely if an HMO is involved. ______________________________ You're right on all accounts, but that shouldn't have anything to do with treating your patients appropriately. " Do no harm " I believe it's part of an oath. And being an RN, I AM part of the medical profession & many times, particularly when I worked in renal dialysis, there were VERY long shifts that I, not only didn't have lunch, have a break, but honestly, didn't peeee!!!! And I don't recall getting paid anymore. _________________________ And when I worked medical malpractice. I can't begin to count the number of hours I actually worked, especially during trials, when I " supposedly " was " salaried " and " supposedly " worked 35 hours a week. I just can't remember getting paid more then either. Must be my EDS memory. Though honestly, during those early years, I truly was asymptomatic, so it wasn't my memory. This all really didn't HIT ME until my late 20's & it's made up for lost time!!!! Take a breath. And remember, no speeding...
