I have wondered about the problems you can have with your liver and lupus. I was diagnosed with lupus because of a blood test showing my liver was inflamed. That test lead to other tests which eventually led to the lupus diagnosis. I still wonder what the liver thing meant and have read a lot about lupus and the liver. The books I read said that you could have the hepatitis that you mentioned but that it was rare as you said. My doctor has never mentioned anything about the liver since but put me on Plaquenil and Trilisate (anti-inflammatory). I've wondered if I should be concerned about it. I hope things go well with you as I understand the problems you are having can be serious. You will be in my thoughts and good luck with all!
