It's currently duct-taped shut, until I figure out how to child-proof it...like all the cupboards -- I've already had to put spring-loaded hook/eyes on them. If there's a door left unlatched, they'll open it. I caught Lenny trying to open a doorknob. Dot sits in the window making pigeon sounds that I can't tell apart from the birds. I've caught Nefertiti trying to use the peephole in the front door, by jumping and hanging on to the hardware. She comes near to having a thumb -- by using her claws, she can pick up a pencil -- can't HOLD it well, but..... That's a good (?) by-product of being a lousy housekeeper.
