Guest guest
I agree with you Mojo! My house, my bed, & with my back problems, along with the fibro & lupus, if I slept on an air mattress I wouldn't be able to move! Let them get a room somewhere! As for them sitting staring at you, just go about your day as usual! I started doing this to my in-laws a few years ago. If I'm watching TV, tough. If I'm cleaning or cooking or whatever, I just keep on with what I'm doing. I guess it just depends on the people. But my in-laws are the weirdest people you could possibly meet! My hubby will even tell you that! lol And he has gotten really good at telling sick folks to "stay away from my wife"! He hates to see me sick & knows how easy I can get sick. His parents live nearby & the few times they dropped in, if I didn't feel well, he kept them outside looking at his flowers. They don't come around much, even less now after they ticked me off Thanksgiving! So believe me, you are not alone with the uncaring, insensitive, just plain weird, in-laws! eresa -- Re: Vent: In Law Saga Visit/Saga Continues.... Did I mention they brought an gift? The FLU!!!!e Wait a second!!!! Why are you sleeping on an air mattress??? I sure hope you didn't give away your bed. I never do, unless I can't sleep myself and go on the couch. Everyone knows I'm not well, and they all know I need my rest. They come to visit me and stay overnight they sleep wherever there is space.
