Another tragedy for my kids to face

This weekend, a young boy who went to school with my kids was killed

in a car accident.

He was 13.

knew him, and had TA'd him. His older twin sisters went to

school with .

They don't know him well. But, it doesn't matter - it's still very

upsetting for kids to have to deal with a classmate dying.

They are handling it pretty well.

is most bothered by it. Even though he wasn't one of her

friends, she knew him, and that is so hard for a kid.

I know this didn't happen to us, but it's just one more thing my

kids have had to deal with lately.

Life suck, pretty much.

This is such sad news , it really makes you aware of your own

mortality and appreciate all of the thing around you that you hold dear. I

hope the kids are alright.
