Guest guest
I think i have a very mild case of dysautonomia with having IBS. When ever I'm on the treadmill and use the blood pressure clip on the ear lobe it fluctuates all over creation. It can go from in the 50's to 70's, 150's, 180's, 90's, 120's, and anywhere in between. Is this normal when walking on a treadmill? I've never had a stress test. This happens no matter if I walk at a slower pace (less than 2 mph) or at 2.6 mph for 5 mins or for 10 mins. Is this something I should be concerned about? I've had holter monitors in the past for mitral valve prolapse, a month long study that had to be dowloaded via telephone. Nothing significant was ever found but I do have episodes where the heart feels like it skips a beat or stops then races and I feel like I have to catch my breath. Any suggestions??? Is this something I need to have checked out so it can be documented for SSD??? I have tried Rx meds for the MVP in the past as well as herbal meds but I had a severe reaction to beta blockers and calcium c hannel blockers where they made me very ill and my heart rate was waaay off and waaaay too slow....so now I can't take them. I'm very careful about reading up on Rx meds and herbals too. I do have the book Sue Ginley and Mike have (PDR for herbals) as well as other herbal books. My mom had MVP and another valve that was bad (found on autopsy) plus severe arthymias, high blood pressure, and undiagnosed EDS.
