Guest guest
Hi all, This is it. Count down to the final paperwork today -- Sunday, April 18th. I am going between make sure I look sane: comb hair, nice outfit and make the apartment looks good. I got documents pulled from every box and storage out. It is best that I stay offline for a time. I know I will finally feel a little better when this paper signing part is over. I still find it < > since he is still in hospital, even though it is the morgue. What I mean he was in the hospital for weeks at a time. So it still feels like he is just away :-(. When they get here at 3:00 PM, I will not be able to fool myself any longer. I know what is going on, but it is like some bad dream or vague disbelief. I never knew his illness would go so fast. But when I count the months he did have the projected eight to ten months. For all it is worth. Healthy folks out there. Do not smoke. And get your chest x-ray yearly or as required. I read that only the earliest staged lung cancer has a decent survival rate. And yes, this is my first experience with making final arrangements. I was overseas when my Mother died in 1977. Years later, with my father my Step Mom was there. For those who I wrote to about Bill's Mom she said to tell all THANK YOU for concerns about her health. She called 911 last night and was taken to the ER. She was given three hours of dialysis and is recovering. She got over stressed and ill being off schedule with her visit to me two weeks ago. She is now stable but too ill to travel here. I will take pictures. Caro
