Guest guest
Debbie and to all " pin pals " , I am happy you are using a map, too. It is fun to do! I know that you are above reproach. And I would love to share my info with you. That is not the point. I just don't want my fellow members thinking that I give out their information to others without approval and I don't know how to do this unless I ask each one each time. I did not think of this when I first started my hobby so I didn't set it up that way. In fact I thought EVERYONE on the site would love to have it! Several things have happened since then that make me realize it isn't that simple. Actually a big part of the fun and connectedness is asking each person for their info and then getting to meet them when they answer. What I did was post a message telling what I was doing and asking if anyone would give me their town and state. Some replied publicly and others privately. Maybe I have answered my own question..... I hope you understand my postion. Let me say again. I think it is super cool that you are excited about posting a map. Several others started it when I did too. It is a great way to " see " the group everyday. I'd like to know how everyone feels about this. I need feedback. At this time I have decided to keep it to myself until I have a consensus. If everyone wants to have a list we share I could do that to!!! I'm open for suggestions from all, With love and hopes for pain free days. Guest guest
Hi , It was just my own idea for me to do so I could get to know everyone and connect since all I had was the written word. Then a few members asked for info so they could start their own. From the beginning I was excited about sharing until I heard from a few people that were concerned with internet and privacy issues. I tried to take a photo but it didn't turn out very good because the map is in the hallway and I couldn't get back far enough to get a straight on photo. I know I'll figure out something eventually. And if it is ok with others I'd be happy to share with anyone by sending it to the private email addresses so it isn't posted on the site. Maybe I will just email everyone I have posted and ask for a yes or no under certain circumstances. I'll think about that. Thanks for answering my question. It gives me food for thought. Hope you are enjoying the Chino weather! It is cold up here in the high desert of Central Oregon! Cold as it is I love it here (my RSD has other ideas, though) Love to you, Lyn Echols <tanechols@y...> wrote: > I think by now everyone knows that i am from Chino California. Feel free to 'map me'. That sounds like an interesting hobby. Will everyone get to see it or is it something that you are doing for your own personal use?.....
