Guest guest
That is a different perspective on all of this and yes I had this virus as a teenager hmmm...Anyone else suffer from this virus? I also remember my grandmother suffering from almost the same exact symptoms as I do and never being diagnosed with anything.I remember her skin breaking out in rashes , her arthritis pain, her taking to bed every now and then and her delusional thoughts at this time ( perhaps kidney involvement). What we are probably looking at is a genetic predisposition and then a trigger; be it viral, chemical, or allergen it triggers the response. This is probably why you see families with more than one suffering from SLE. The genetics are in play and whammo the trigger. Perhaps the trigger is mutiple like extreme stress and then a viral involvement and whammo. I was also reading in a book last night almost all SLE sufferes suffer from allergies. Wow so we have the triggers hypothetically narrowed down but we need more research done to even begin to understand SLE. My grandmother is also American Indian (Choctow)my rhuemetoligist told me that diseases of rhuemetology are extremely prevelant amongst the American Indians. In fact I think I was reading the National Institute of Health did a research study on Choctow indians and sceledroma. There is so much to be learned from all of this suffering but I want to learn so the suffering will stop in my family and all of the other SLE families.I found some of my favorite Lupus books for sale at Amazon used but so far I have been very lucky all of the books I have bought were from 01.-3.00 and were in excellent condition. In fact a few looked almost brand new in condition. I also recieved a lot of information from the NIH which offers information for free. If you want to learm more the knowledge is out there.Well you all Have a great Memorial Day and to all the Soldiers and Vets I want to personally thankyou for your extreme sacrifice for your country.I stand and salute you today for caring enough to serve. your friend n
