Guest guest Posted April 1, 2004 Report Share Posted April 1, 2004 Hi all -- Have a question about ACE inhibitors. I take Lisinopril and have since I had my heart attack. I just recently had the dosage increased because my blood pressure was getting rather high. In reading the info sheet that comes with the Rx, I noticed the following. Under precautions, it states that you should not use this medication if you have certain medical conditions. Then it goes on to say -- tell you doctor if you have " --------, blood vessel disease (e.g. collagen vascular disease---- " . Well, I would think that would include VEDS. This statement has not been on the info sheet before. I am going to be asking my doctor and my cardiologist about this (not very hopeful that they will know anything or consider it important!!!), but I was wondering if anyone had any experience and/or info on ACE inhibitors and VEDS.
