Those who pay attention to food combining say to eat melons alone for easier

digestion. Also important to watch for mold on melons.

Well gastro-intestinal; nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, bloating after

meals, belching, passing gas, feeling of fullness in the stomach long after

finishing a meal, abdominal pains or cramps can all be signs of an allergy to

something. My son is very allergic to cantaloupe and he will throw up, and

get a red ring around his mouth that itches. I would think your son is showing

signs of an allergy or intolerance to the cantaloupe.

You might want to check out Ralph Naddars book on pestisides in our foods. He

did a study on several supermarkets, had normal familes buy produce, fruit, etc.

He sent it all out to independent labs. After all the food nuteriants were

removed, the levels of pestisides and chemicals in the produce were so

frightning, I hardly eat anything that is not organic.

And I am even suspicious of that. What the study he did found that the levels of

toxic chemicals and pestisides in Cantalopes were so high, that if you gave your

child 1/2 a cantalope once a week, in one year his liver would begin to fail

from overload of toxic chemicals. Just to make sure, all of you who are detoxing

your children should find and read all of what Naddar has written about our food

system, and what we really are eating.

I wanted to vote for him so badly, he is probably one of the few people in any

form of Gvt. that really cares about what happens to us.

Just a FYI about the cantalope issue. Again, for any food dye, or food allergy

that creates violent and sudden behaviour change. You need to get that brain

into an alkaline state immediately. USE either a tsp baking soda in a glass of

water. or get some Alka Seltzer Gold, that goes down easier. It works

immediately and creates a difference in about ten to 15 mins.

You can then determine if it is an allergy, or toxic chemical reaction.

My son did not tolerate orange or green foods, even with No-Fenol.

I ate a Cantaloupe just now! But to the contrary, melons are very easy

to digest. From a Google search:

" Never mix melons with other fruits. Melons

digest the fastest of all fruits " .

" Melons take even less time to digest than other fruits

and must pass very quickly through your digestive system. (Otherwise

it ferments in the intestines... )

Maybe the melon wasn't organic and it was a reaction from pesticides?

I myself get very sick from non-organic bananas, which btw is among

the most toxic fruits comercially grown.

I'd like to push a little for WATERMELONS!

Watermelon is on top of the things that alkalize the body, by leaps

and bounds! Most people might think its just water and some sweet

taste, but alkalizing is top priority. We got ten times more acid

sulphur in the air than 100 years ago, remember.

And like cucumber it's charged with bioelectric energy that benefits you.

The pips ot nuts or whatever its called in english are very healthy to

eat. Most people throw them in the waste, but they are loaded with

good stuff. The GMO melons, which you dont eat anyway dont have pips

(or whatever, please relieve my ignorance :-)

Also, if I have not eaten for a long time, several slices of

watermelon restores my energy but DONT gimme low bloodsugar. I believe

many people think they will have the bloodsugar blues if they eat too

much of it, but that doesnt seem to be the case, not for me at least.

Again, dont eat GMO watermnelons because we probably dont want GMO DNA

passing our small intestines and into the blood stream???

- the melon man! ;-)
