Cheaper pain medicines ... what is the generic Oxycontin med? ... vent

Hi all,

Bills Oxycontin costs $81 with my prescription plan. Is there a substitute

for this medicine? I went off budget to pay for all of his meds of about $200

March 5th. I did this by NOT buying my pain medicines and NOT doing my monthly

food shopping. I cannot do that at the end of this month. First comes rent,

Medicare cost, medical insurance cost. I am now broke. The whole disability

system is messed up. When it comes to my six inches of Bills hospital bills I do

not even know where to start. Paying them that is.

Bill had his phone interview with Social Services 3/22/04. I was told

yesterday we can expect an answer in eight months. Well, he is at the hospital

right now. If they keep him again, at least he will have full meals again. Caro.
