Well after those dreadful blisters, I simply took the shoes off on

Friday morning, and refused to put them back on. I was in quite a

dilemma, as I know the feet can relapse so quickly. I managed to get

hold of Dr. F. and he said I could leave the shoes off, and come in

on Tuesday, which I did. He came to the same conclusion I had come

to: his feet are not fully corrected. He has very stiff feet, has had

from the beginning, and the tenotomy did not give him full

correction. Now he wants to do another tenotomy, but this time under

anaesthetic. The reason he wants to do it this way is that he needs

to make a slightly larger incision, so that he can see more clearly

what is going on, and also he doesn't want to be crying and

kicking while he is trying to work on him. We are scheduled to go in

on Wednesday morning.

He did say that he could recast the feet, instead of doing the heel

release, but feels that has been through enough, as this has

been so tough on him already.

He has also ordered him different shoes - is ordering them from Iowa,

although I have no idea what the shoes are, or how they differ from

those that I already have.

I am hoping that this is the best course of action for my little guy.

Wish I could check with Dr. P. himself.
