Guest guest
kristine, consider yourself lucky you learned that guy wasn't worth your time before you wasted it!! i always would ask myself this question too....why isn't he married? maybe he's too focused on looks and the outside appearance to get to know people for who they are. you definitely don't want one of those. i dated one of those in high school and was convinced that we would go to college and eventually get married. he was this jock that only really cared about how much body fat he had and whether or not i had too much. i was very athletic and buff i must say myself. but i had no care as to what percentage of body fat i had. this guy only made me feel worse about myself, like i wasn't good enough, or thin enough, or pretty enough. finally i got smart and said, what happens when i get married and have kids??? i'm sure i'll gain weight and then what?? to make a long story short, we both got married to different people (thank goodness) and met up at the 15 year hs reunion. well, he looked like he still was obsessed about his body fat, but looked very much smaller than he had in hs, almost sickly....AND he lost almost all his hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAAAAA! it was one of those very funny moments i still smile about. : ) so try not to let shallow men make you feel bad, they aren't worth a second thought. you can do BETTER!!! : ) heidi : )
