Guest guest
I started out today with a really good workout, and I felt great about it afterwards. But when I got to work and turned on my cell phone, I found two voice mail messages from my wife, one panicky and the other not so panicky. Turns out one of our cats, our oldest and 's first, died this morning. was in tears all day long, but I was pretty good until I got home and buried the cat. We buried her inside the cardboard box she used to love to curl up in, in the flower bed where she loved to roll around in the dirt, next to the grass that she loved to eat. As I was patting down the soil over her grave, I couldn't hold it in anymore and I just broke down into tears. It was kind of annoying, because, you know, the guy's not supposed to be upset about these things. My very manhood was at risk. Anyway, after the cat's funeral, thoughts of Core went down the tubes, I'm afraid. We had pizza for dinner, and ice cream for dessert. I guess I probably used up all my Flex Points for the week, but sometimes you need the comfort food. -- Slainte, S.
