Guest guest
Hi My son was born with bilateral club foot and a heart murmur was also detected. He has a small hole about 3 mm called VSD (Ventricular Septal Defect). He had all the necessary tests done in the hospital and I have been following with a Pediatric Cardiologist every six months who said that the hole should close up within the first year of life. Guest guest
Hi there. My daughter Isabella has a heart murmur. When She was born they did an echochardiogram on her because it didn't sound like an innocent murmur. The echo came back fine and she has no defect of her heart at all. She still has a murmur, they said it may or may not close up. They said they normally close up the first year of life but hers hasn't. Guest guest
If I were you, I would just get the Markel shoes that are routinely used on the DBB. They are cute, white-leather toeless shoes that soften and mold to your child's foot. I can't believe anyone would call them ugly. In fact, that is the one thing people commented on was how cute the shoes were. Guest guest
Marilouise, When my son was born in '00 with bcf, we spent 5 days in the hospital because Evan turned blue around the mouth. He went into the special care nursery and had heart ultrasounds and was on every kind of monitor for 5 days but they never did determine the cause of the scare. He also had a buried penis which was corrected surgically at age 1. I will always wonder if these were in any way connected to the cf. I have never read of heart connections but have read about connections with the buried penis problem but never anything conclusive. Anyone else know anything about this? > Hi again, > I am posting under another topic to maybe catch the attention of > anyone who do not read my original intro message.
