Guest guest
This is a hoax - The Swiffer cleaner is no more dangerous than any other cleaning product used around the home. While it wouldn't be advisable to drink it (or any other cleanser!) it is as safe to use as any other cleaner so long as basic safety precautions as used, as with any product you use around humans or animals. For further information, see the explanation at Snopes (where you can check out other such "warnings" or stories that seem - and usually are - false), http://www.snopes.com . The Swiffer info can be found specifically at http://www.snopes.com/critters/crusader/swiffer.asp . And for what it's worth, I've been using the Swiffer for quick clean ups in my home and kennel for since it first came out - and haven't had any illnesses involving liver failure in my dogs or puppies. The only two dog deaths I've experienced in that time were an 18 1/2 year old who was just very tired and a 16 year old with a ruptured inoperable cancer tumor - I sincerely doubt that Swiffer contributed to either of those! Sue housekeepers' two cats also died of liver failure. They both used theSwiffer Wetjet for quick cleanups on their floors. Necropsies weren't doneon the cats, so they couldn't file a lawsuit, but he asked that we spreadthe word to as many people as possible so they don't lose their animals.PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD! ---Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).Version: 6.0.683 / Virus Database: 445 - Release Date: 5/12/2004
