Boston is loaded with great hospitals. University Of Mass hospital is outside if Boston.....but they are wonderful and have heard of EDS. (I did a seminar there 2 years ago when I was diagnosed with Aydes Tonic Syndrome (they thought it was a brain tumor (remember Jill how Doug was calling you??) My eyes do not dilate, scared the Bejeepers out of them and they admitted me ASAP. They were open and talked about EDS Also, if I am in the correct state...Beth Israel is also great. Whomever your Dr. is. Is the one that should be setting this up for you, so ask questions and if they have advised a surgery such as this I am sure they will advise you with ease?
