I purchase on line with a note in the special instructions box to add the DMSA per my Drs note. They do not list it in the book or on the website since a prescription is needed. Guest guest Posted March 9, 2004 Report Share Posted March 9, 2004 Kirkmans still sells DMSA - I just bought some DMSA & ALA low dose (12.5 mg DMSA & 12.5 mg ALA per capsule - 90 capsules a bottle for about $27.00) a few days ago. The only difference now is that you MUST have a prescription from a licensed physician with a DEA number. They will not sell it unless it is a valid prescription from someone who is licensed to write prescriptions (DEA number). You have to call them & talk to customer service & order it over the phone. Have your physician call or fax in your prescription. Kirkman's DMSA is so much better than the Chemet that I get from the pharmacy. The Chemet stinks to high heaven and it doesn't mix well because inside the Chemet capsules are little grainy balls. And Chemet only comes in 100 mg capsules!!! Bernadette Kirkman's DMSA is so much better than the Chemet that I get from the pharmacy.
