Guest guest Posted April 1, 2004 Report Share Posted April 1, 2004 Patti, I am not sure about this, but I do know at one time my kidney doc wanted to switch me from the betablocker I was on to an Ace Inhibitor and my primary Dr. Kumar was not OK with that. Dr. Kumar cares for about 20-25 patients with EDS in the capacity of internal medicine/family practice. Now, I do not know if this was just for me and my specific problem or there was more to it. If you email me I can give you his phone number.....just mention EDNF (he is the medical advisor for the WNY EDNF) and he will either get right on the phone or call you back as soon as he can.
