Hello,

I have decided to go to Pa. to live withy Mom. HOw do I find out about

supplemental health insuarance or a medigap for someone disable but not over 65.

I

have been all over the web and can't get a lead. IN RI I got Blue Chip for

medicare and it was great. It was an HMO type thing but covered meds, home care

etc....I am in NC now but will be leaving next week and have been waiting all

month to hear if I could get BCBS part C which would just cover some hospital

inpatient and dr's visits but no perscription drugs or home care or anything

else. Is there a web site that explains what each state offers I can find it for

people over 65 but not for those disabled. If anyone can help me and lead me

into a direction to find help please let mew know as I am going to require

surgery and long term IV antibioticsa and need to get covered before I begin

plus

I am moving to a new state. Thanks

OH BTW will they take my MOm's income into account if I try to get medicare.

I only get $500 a month for disability and tha is my only income. My MOm own

her own condo but hads recently had a stroke and her savings are going to her

health care. How can I prove that she will not be helping me financially?

Thanks again!

Sue K
