Guest guest
My understanding of Therapeutic Touch is that it sometimes is done on body but generally not. By contrast, Polarity and Acupressure are generally done on-body but sometimes off. For cranialsacral and lymphatic drainage assessments, I go either way, on or off-body. I can pick up these two rhythms about the same either on or off. For chi, again, I can go on or off but sense it much stronger on. What limited exposure I have had to TT has been off-body and only as an assessment tool. I haven't really done any treatment as such with it yet. I have used it to identify energetic blockages but have then treated those blockages with either polarity or acupressure. In fact, I use cranialsacral more for assessment than I do for treatment also. As for the sensations you feel, it depends on whether it is just the movement of the energy or if treatment is actually happening. The sensations definitely change. Know what you mean about loaning books. One of my ex-instructors still has a couple of mine. As for restocking, check Amazon.com. They link in for used book sources as well. I have been very pleased with them and have yet to get burned. If you do go that route, log on through EDS Today so they can get a commission. Helps them out. Thanks for the link info on some of the clinical trials on EMPF therapy. I need to check them after getting done with my current class. I did find the following comment interesting " Physio-Stim produces a signal at the fracture like the one your body would generate to induce normal bone healing.
