Guest guest Posted October 18, 2001 Report Share Posted October 18, 2001 Vered, I just wanted to tell you that I used your friend's mom's yogurt recipe to make some, except I used Half and Half. It is fabulous, and tastes exactly like sour cream and is the consistency of very thick and silky sour cream. Next time I plan to use cream, drain as much whey out as I can, and use it as a quick soft cream cheese substitute in Atkins rolls and Atkins Danish. Thanks for posting that recipe. I'm thinking that I can dissolve some of my SF Jell-O flavors and experiment by using them to create fruit flavored yogurts from the homemade plain yogurt. What do you think of that?
