Hi everyone,

Thank you for the wonderful welcomes. I'm so happy to find people

who know what I'm going through. I was diagnosed with Discoid Lupus

in 1979, followed by systemic in 1980. I have renal, cardiac, joint

involment, and now lung, I was diagnosed with BOOP pneumonia last

March. I'm 50 years, and right now because of the BOOP I am not

working. I have been on oxygen this past year. I thank God every

day for the help, and support of my family and friends. I know I

woud be up the creek without them. I've been very luck with my

doctors too. I live on Long Island, NY and we have great hospitals

here. I believe in taking one day at a time. You all know how

frustrating it gets. If you let me I can go on forever LOL.
