One of the sayings in bodywork and alternative/holistic approaches

is:

" The body contains within itself everything it needs to heal itself. "

And no distinction is made between a common cold, a broken bone or

cancer. The problems come up when the body's self healing

mechanisms get out of kilter or damaged, in effect turning off the

body's repair function, either specifically or systemically. To a

large degree, that is what " energy work " does - help kick start the

body's self repair.
