Guest guest
Dear Robin, You wrote - " considered " permanently disabled " with no renewal or review necessary " I really wish they would do this for my case. I have only had one review come up and am due for another one this year. I find it amazing that with all the info they have recieved, from my docs and theirs, an my input, stating that this condition will not get better and will only deteriorate, they still want to bother me every 3 years! When they do these reviews they only want info on the docs and any procedures done in the 6 months prior to the review. They don't want to hear anything about the other 2 1/2 years. I have come to a point with my condition that I pretty much just go for my med refills every 3 months and maybe a 1x per year Geneticist review. Other than that it is just on an injury or emergency basis. So in the six months they pick I may have just gone to one doctor! Then they end up wanting me to see one of theirs. It's all just a royal un-needed waste of taxpayers and my own (all my years of putting into SS) dollars. Yet there is always some news story or another screaming at the people themselves on medicare and medicaid costing taxpayers x amount of billions of dollars due to lifestyle choices (the latest being overweight and obese people). Just another situation where people not having all the info being force fed one side. Hugs, B. HEDS, New Jersey, USA
