There are some people who cannot take prednisone. Maybe you are one of

them.

Usually prednisone makes asthma better .. not worse.

Of course, with lupus, if you get a cold, it can go into bronchitis

real easy because the body is compromised, so it wouldnt be a true

asthma.

But I would definitely talk to the doctor about this ..

keep a diary .. for example:

Day 1: 10 mg prednisone .. wheezing .. ate shrimp .. legs are swelled ..

Day 2: 9 mg prednisone, wheezing worse .. face is swelled

it might help you to find what is going on..
