Guest guest Posted March 25, 2004 Report Share Posted March 25, 2004 .. have you mentioned this to your doctor? There are some people who cannot take prednisone. Maybe you are one of them. Usually prednisone makes asthma better .. not worse. Of course, with lupus, if you get a cold, it can go into bronchitis real easy because the body is compromised, so it wouldnt be a true asthma. But I would definitely talk to the doctor about this .. keep a diary .. for example: Day 1: 10 mg prednisone .. wheezing .. ate shrimp .. legs are swelled .. Day 2: 9 mg prednisone, wheezing worse .. face is swelled it might help you to find what is going on.. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
