Oh ,

I'm worried about you. Any idiot knows you have to taper off

that stuff slowly. Please let us know what happens. Medical care is getting

worse and worse. We should all be worried about that. Love,

Now what

do I do?

I'm at my

wit's end with my doctors......My Primary care Doc. doesn't want to prescribe

prednisone for me anymore.....he said that he only agreed to treat me for Lupus

till I got another Rheumatologist.....and the Rheumatologist is not

taking new patients untill June.....You absolutely cannot get to talk to anyone

at his office .....it is all `Voice Mail'......and tells you that your Doctor

has to send your information, and why you need a Rheumatologist.....then when

the Doctor reviews your information he will get in touch with you for an

appt...........We did all that last month.....and When I called Dr. Ohman's

office for refills for Prednisone.....he accused me of self medicating, because

I want to taper off the prednisone slowly, and he is not comfortable with

giving me enough prednisone to taper.....he wants me to drop 10mg. at once!

His

nurse told me to have my pharmacy fax my prednisone records to his

office....then to get on the phone with The Rheumy....Dr. Kier....and be

`ADAMANT' that he makes an appt. immediatly to see me!

How in

the Hell are you supposed to be Adamant with a Voice Mail system....no one will

call me back, and he isn't taking new patients untill June anyway. I'm supposed

to call my Primary Doc. tomorrow and let them know what I was able to do `Being

`Adamant with the Voice Mail System of Dr.Kier'

All day today I

have been making the rounds of emotions from anger to depression to being

downright scared that I am Going to find myself totally without a doctor to

treat me......and I am going to crash big time!
