Guest guest
I have been reading as much as I can on these newletters. Everyone is so knowledgable!! I dont know what to do from here, I need help. I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism two years ago. I take 100mg of levothyroxine in the am and 50mg at night. I still was not feeling well so I had an MRI done on my pituatary (no tumor), did the stim test and I tested low for growth hormone so he put me on .02mcg of genotropin daily. Its been three months and I feel better, but not 100%. I still suffer often with stiffness, joint pain, foggy memory and gained 15 pounds in 3 months. I told my endo this on my last visit a week ago and he told me that the weight gain is part of the condition, to see a neurologist about my memory and my only hope of weight loss is to do gastric bypass because all my numbers are in range. I was stunned, is this true??? Is there anything out there I can do? I do notice if I drink ALOT of water I feel better, but still not 100%. Will I ever? Is there a diet out there that will help with weight loss and general overall feeling better? Here are my last blood draw results. I am open to anything!! Thank you for your help!!
