Hi all,

I haven't written to everyone lately because I am still in a bit of shock and

miserable.

About me requesting an Autopsy for Bill on August 6th, IMHO the medical folk

freaked. A week later they tell me I did not give the paper to the medical

examiner. Excuse me? My doctor had the original paper. I was given a copy of

that

and all if all, I did get totally confused. It seemed no one was helping me.

Once again, I was the person with the invisible disability. I was in a state I

did not recognized my friend Lynn for a moment. I was put in a wheel chair to

be taken to get autopsy paperwork. When we went by Bill old hospital room and

I saw the end of the bed he died in I lost it. Yet, I was trying to make

sense of all the nurse were telling me. That this form here. Take this paper

there.

All I wanted was final information just in case the SSD and/or VA pension

folk ask some off the wall question. I presume the doctors these last three or

four month did all they could do for Bill. I do not know because I had been too

ill to go there. When I wanted the EDS skin tests, my doctor waited until a

few days ago to say Bill is not EDS. That I am but he is not. Well, I spoke to

him a few weeks ago about Bill being < > being EDS more than three

times. He told me how Bill was in denial about his illness. That was a good time

to tell me nope, you are wrong. He is not EDS and oh by the way he has

metastatic lung cancer. But instead, I find out about that April 1st. No one

told me

he had metastatic lung cancer until three days before he died -- Bill died

April 3rd.

So, maybe they think I just crawled out from the wood work, but I am

suspicious. Perhaps all I need is to get his MANY medical records that I now

have to

pay a fortune to get per page.

About his VA pension application. I felt that if Bill was EDS it would

explain whey he had so much trouble with his pain medicines. He always told me

the

joint pain was terrible and no one listened. To me this will help his backdated

SSD and decades backdated VA application. All is after the fact and I want to

do the best I can. And if I help his family know the EDS gene is in OR not

the family in the process I felt I was doing another favor. Caro
