Guest guest
Sue; Try one of the Center for the Independence of the Disabled. I was able to be advised through a senior citizens group; so you might try those too. The person I saw gave me pages of medigap suppliers, what they offer and the cost. The advice was free. laxity@... On 4/24/04 8:50 PM, " ceda " ceda > wrote: > From: RIAUSSIEJAKE@... > Subject: Question about health insurance for the disabled in US. Guest guest
Sue K. If you have Medicare and under no insurance plan and separated from your husband, you should also be entitled to Medicaid from SSA. Since you are low income and only have your SSD check to live on you should be able to get this. Check with social security. Or check with a social worker when you get settled in to where you decide to move. Sincerely, S. Question about health insurance for the disabled in US.
