Guest guest
>>PS - My next question is: " Why are out thyroids not functioning the way they should? " << Well I am hearing that it is too much hormones in our meats, but then I know of at least a couple of us on her that are low estrogen. I really think alot of it is Chlorinated water, Fluoridated water, and just plain too many chemicals in our lives. I also think a lack of sunshine has something to do with it! The reason I came to that conclusion is that I used to raise Akita dogs. Akitas have ALOT of thyroid problems. My Akitas were raised outdoors where they got lots of sunshine and were not neutered as they were show & breeding animals. I had not one case of hypothyroidism in 15 years of raising them, and no hip dysplasia either. I fed regular store brand foods and the 0nly things different was them living outside and getting lots of running exercise on natural surfaces like good old grass & dirt. I did use filtered water.. so I think that plays a part in it. I had some pups I sold that came up with thyroid problems when they were 3-5 years old, indoor dogs that had regular tap water. THAT told me alot. So draw your own conclusions. This was not a controlled study but it works for me. ALL domestic animals are having thyroid problems but I have not heard of it being a problem in wild animals.. what is the difference? *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes?
