Hi Mike, this is Helen from South Oz. All I have to say is well done for

your post. I totally agree with everything you said. I started to really look

into all the things my doctor was giving me and asking 'Why aren't I getting any

better? You are given one tablet and then another to counteract that and

another to counteract that etc etc. About 4 years ago I finally started to use

my brain. I have been a nurse and my Dad is a Doctor. He is 77 years old now

and was a doctor for about 45 yrs of that. He always looked in to 'why' we

get things wrong with us and was a very good General Practitioner. In 1976 he

developed a tumour on his pituitary gland, (the master gland of the body) they

removed 7/8th of it and since then he has had to monitor his body carefully.

He has searched over the years for doctors who look into alternate ways of

dealing with disease anyway to cut a long story short even he recently said to

me and I quote, 'You know Honey, I don't think doctors know much at all !!!!'

He had been reading up on his problems and shown the top Endocrinologist and

the Endo just dismissed it out of hand. I know there is not much we can do

with EDS but I believe that I do not have Fibromyalgia or Crohn's Disease

anymore. I start to ask myself if these are auto-immune diseases it stands to

reason

that there is something wrong with my immune system so I have been building

up my immune system and have been so much better. I don't take the FM or

Crohn's medication anymore even after I was told I would have to be on them for

LIFE!!!. I anyone would like to know more you can e-mail me on
