I'm looking forward to it, even though there will be quite a bit of "restrictive time" during which I won't be able to do a lot of things...a small price to pay I guess! Hi Cliff, glad to hear that you are going to go forward with the SCS. I just had mine put in in August, the third try. (The first two had to be removed due to complications) It has helped me SO much with the pain. Unfortunately it is not going to give 100% relief, well, maybe you will get lucky and it will!! But, at least in my case the goal is pain relief and hopefully being able to reduce the amount of meds taken. It is quite a painful recovery but the end justifies the means. I am ecstatic because coming down on these meds means I will be able to start driving again!! Yeah!!! Are you still able to work? If so what kind of work do you do? I hope all goes well with the insurance company OK'ing the procedure. You take care, Love Jai
