First of all, please don't let your ex rule you, he did not deserve you then, and certainly doesn't deserve your precious emotional energy today! Sounds like you have a wonderful guy now, and he deserves your focus. I had a bad one like that previously, and now am married to a wonderful man and I love my life, despite my illnesses. As for the depression, I know that some days it is consuming. Some days I don't think that I can make it, but somehow I do. And my illness isn't as bad as yours, I am not on chemo or any heavy duty drugs yet, since I am new to this. But, if you lean on that wonderful man you have, your life will be richer, even though you are going through lots of things right now. I know that it is easier said than done, but you have to fight for yourself! You go, girl!! Here's to a diminished pain day!
