Guest guest
Hi Mike: My husband is shocked by the excellent results obtained by my efforts at using your polarity method on his knee last evening. He returned hobbling from his nightly walk with his buddy. Could barely lift his leg over the door step and had to go sideways up the 3 steeps in our front hall. He was some ticked let me tell you, a positive bear as he had vital job interviews to go to the next day and was ready to go to the Emerg for a " cure " . I applied a warm compress with little decrease in pain and he is getting even more ticked by the definite prospect of being immobilized..not a good patient. I haven't got anything to lose so I get him to identify exactly where the pain is and I can see swelling at the base of the patella and the lateral side of it. So I try out your polarity stuff with one finger on the painful spot and the finger of the other hand touching diagonally from the painful spot, horizontally from the spot as well as behind the knee letting my fingers go where they seem to want to. I felt that pulse that you talk about, but am wondering am I really feeling the pulse of my own index finger. Does it matter if you use the index or the 2nd finger. Do you press firmly, or lightly? Do you shake off the energy after each time you press or just at the very end. The upshot of it all is that the knee is feeling a bit better and he asks me to do that a few more times as it is helping, which I do. By bedtime the knee is much improved and he is walking almost normally. He takes the warm bath I suggest and I do the touch thing one more time Today he is walking well with absolutely no pain and the knee is better than it's been for many weeks...and he is convinced I have acquired a healing touch. Now he wants me to work on the other knee that he had the menisectomy on 2 or more years ago. Thing is..I have no clear idea how exactly I accomplished this. Are there any points around the knee or the back of the knee I should avoid. It seems to me that the ligament at the lateral side and the muscle at the upper back of the knee were tight or in spasm or is it possible the warm compress did the trick. I will try the other knee tonight as he requests, however I will be doing this blind so to speak..here's hoping. I had no idea the pressure a " Healer " feels for the repeat performance, however, being a realistic husband he may well settle for 1 out of 2 if I am less successful. I have to get one of these Gach books to give me a better sense of this thing. Any further tips you might have would be appreciated. Toronto has a very large oriental community and there must be practitioners here whom I could observe or learn from though they may not be eager to pass on the knowledge. Just wanted you to know that you now have two converts to your polarity methods..or whatever it is I did. Regards, Bernie
