Guest guest
Good God, what a pain! I'm so sorry for you - not sleeping is one of the worst! I'll say my prayers, I can do that much! Love Lana 0 :-) Sleep: NOT was: Re: Re: AARP: 12 million over-65 retirees maylose supplemental Lana, I was on elavil for awhile. But then started having Hypognonic Hallucinations; and also my jaw dislocated in my sleep. The cranio-facial doc sent me to have a sleep study done; to show insurance the need for a tmj brace ($800). The sleep study of course showed the sleep apena, restless leg and need for bi-pap machine ($1200). Was sent to a sleep workshop; which did not really apply as I was the only one in there that would wake due to pain; the others in the group wake due to stress etc. My elavil was changed to (cant remember the name) sleep med which gave me horrible headaches all day. So I went off that and back on tylenol pm. The elavil had been relaxing my muscles too much increasing the apenea and making my jaw too lax. I already was using a tmj brace which was wrong for my jaw. Was sent to a tmj specialist to have the brace made and the bi-pap machine ordered. He refused my insurance - after putting me through H@11 for over a year. Was sent to the chronic pain group to figure it all out. They dropped me due to insurance - at least that is what they said. So I am back to tylenol pm and trolling the web in the wee hours. Thanks for the concern though On 4/29/04 2:09 PM, " ceda " ceda > wrote: >> That was exactly the situation :-) >> >> Hi my name is Laxity and I am an insomniac.
