I am also stage 3 but it was my left breast..had the chemo and radiation...then

on tamoxifin for a year and then went to arimidex because I was getting leg

cramps and swelling in feet...With both got a little weight gain and now take

calcium...I still get a little numbness in left leg and foot not that bad...When

I was going through chemo and radiation I was working and standing alot on my

job...I managed to get through it even though the some of the girls in the

office did not like the fact I had cancer and had to be off work...the week I

got chemo..which was every 3 weeks for 8 treatments...When I was off it ment

some of the girls had to work a little harder and they complained to the boss...

that was in 2002-2003 and finally retired in 2004.

Good luck going back to work.

Hi, my name is Deena from Colorado Springs. I was diagnosed in April

of this year. I just finished treatment the middle of October, and I'm

proud to be able to call myself a survivor. The treatment of course

was horrible, but I feel this whole experience has made me a stronger

person and I wouldn't change any of it. My hair is coming back in

rapidly and very curly!! Thanks for letting me be a part of this group.
