That just makes me sick! They wanted to put my son on Prozac when he was only 3

years old. Them and their gosh-darn miracle pills. Let's just fork over more

money to the pharmaceutical companies. Now the pharmaceutical people are going

after the dietary supplements. Check out the bill in the senate (S. 722).

Convieniently called the " Dietary supplement safety act " . It will put a lot of

companies producing supplements right out of business. I have been " discussing "

(in other words " screaming at " ) this with a senator from Ohio but he firmly

believes that all dietary supplements should undergo intense clinical trials.

Tell that to the people who have safely taken these supplements for decades. I

think the whole deal came about because of Ephedra, which they have already

gotten rid of, so leave our children's much needed supplements alone!

Aarrgghh, I get soooo mad.

What an absolute joke... Prozac for a 3 year old. I felt pretty bad taking

Prozac for the first time at 34 years old.

It's a corrupt stuffed up system all right.

Paxil *is* a miracle drug for our three yr old. We gave it to her

after a year of ABA/diet/supps with dramatically wonderful results.

That's what I kinda thought. The only problem is that this was at a time when my

son had just gotten the diagnosis. I was vunerable and prone to believe anything

the doctor told me, because I had not yet established a support system. Lucky

for me that I was already against drugs otherwise I could have a much bigger

problem on my hands.
